USA
The normal clearance times are 1-5 working days after flight arrival. Please note this is Monday to Friday and does not include weekends. If your shipment arrives Friday afternoon in to the USA it will start the clearance process on Monday morning and normally be released if all is in order Tuesday to Thursday
Customs: United States Customs and Border Protection conduct and initial inspection on the goods to ensure the correct amount of Duties and taxes are paid along with protecting the countries borders from smuggling.
USDA: United States Department of Agriculture do an inspection on the plants to ensure they are declared correctly, free of pests etc.
All shipments have to pass through both departments before being released in to the United States and passed over to USDA.
Unfortunately customs & USDA do not work over the weekend to clear the cargo. Their working days are Monday to Friday excluding any public holidays.
After the clearance and inspection is done it will be passed over to UPS or Fedex. If you have selected and paid for a Next Day Service this will be delivery the next working day Monday to Friday unless your Zip code is within a 2 day delivery zone.
We post an estimated delivery date on the website within 24 hours of your shipment leaving the origin. Please DO NOT aim to make contact within the Estimated Delivery time as we will be unable to provide any further update other than what is showing on the website.
Do however contact us if it has gone past the Estimated Delivery Window.
All shipments once passed over to USDA are kept in a temperature controlled area suitable for plants.
Unfortunately Saturday delivery is not standard. So if your cargo gets released on Friday you would expect Monday delivery.
Shipments under inspection can be held by USDA. In such cases either an Emergency Action Notification (EAN) is issued or a Hold Notice. These can take up to 1-5 days to be issued and will list the breach that has taken place. In some cases there is the option to remedy the breach. >

Once you get either a Hold Notice or an EAN you should contact the shipper at Origin and Discuss with them the options. As a transport / Courier company we are unable to provide advise on how to resolve
Shipments that have listed PESTs on the Hold Notice are some times eligible to being Fumigated at a cost of US $ 500 - 600 per time. Please contact your shipper at Origin to discuss
Once costs have been confirmed and you are ready for your shipments to be fumigated this process can take up to 1-3 working days (Monday to Friday) then will be passed over to UPS or Fedex for Delivery.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide any further help and you should discuss replacement plants with your shipper at Origin.
If you get your consignment and you have missing plants inside or damaged plants please contact your shipper at origin we are unable to comment or give you further information.
